Congratulation to the A-flight TX Cup team for bring the cup home to Houston. From what I've heard, there was an exciting finish to the weekend. Unfortunately I was not present to document the climatic finish

2008 VGA National Championship
Members,
After getting all the feedbacks from all the VGA associations, the 2008 VGA Championship will be held in Las Vegas again this year. The tournament will be held at the
beautiful Paiute Golf Resort on August 15th, 16th, and 17th. We will be playing the Snow Mountain Course on Saturday with a 8:00 AM SHOTGUN, and the Sun Mountain Course on Sunday
also with a 8:00 AM SHOTGUN. The practice round will be play on the Snow Mountain on Friday the 15th with a 2:00 PM SHOTGUN. The tournament fee for this year will be $350 with a
practice round or $300 without the practice round. We will update our website: www.vgasite.com with all the
information you will need to register and pay for the 2008 tournament.
Please pass this email to all of your members and anyone that wants to attend this annual tournament. Registration will begin May 1st and the deadline will be July 25th.
You have three months to register and pay the tournament fee. We are limited to 144 players again so please sign up and pay the registration fee as soon as you can. Once the field is
full, we can not add anymore players. You should not wait till July 25th to register. Everyone will need to pay the tournament fee before heading to Las Vegas. We had a problem with
players signing up and not showing to pay for the tournament fee.
This year we will continue to have the individual three flights (Flight 1-Handicap 0-12, Flight 2-Handicap 13-24, Flight 3-Handicap 25-36). We still have Flight 1 and 2
for the team event and the most important them all is the Regional title. Round #1 will be use for best score per hole and Round #2 will be use for best total score.
For a complete itinerary of the tournament, please email Hien Vo or visit vgasite.com.
